2008 Lake County Fair Standings

Let me first say that this was some of the most action-packed driving I've seen in years. Great job to everyone. You guys really put on a show for the fans, worthy of that fair's well-desrved reputation as being a big, hard-hitting show. You all realy know how to put on a grand finale. Thank you for giving DhR the honor of hosting the last Center St. derby., and thank you for running with us.

We had alot of old school drivers come out of retirement to join us for the last bash:Rich Morrow, Jim Vandervere (1st lake County Fair win), "Chico" Matson (1st win ever is his career!), Jim Dahm, Ron Marshall, Ted Richter Jr, Jeff Indlecoffer, & Kevin McKevett, to name a few. Thank you all (if I didn't mention you, please don't take offense, as there were ALOT of you).

Curt Jacobsen, our giant of an official, stuffed himself into a 95 Cavalier for the first time ever for our DhR staff heatrace, and would you believe it...HE WON! GREAT JOB!
